How Are You Living YOUR Life?

I just finished watching, How to Make an American Quilt. I have seen it before a long while ago, and I just had to watch it again. Good movie. I love watching movies that make you cry, and that make you think about your own life. Kinda shows you what is important, or when you are older what was the most important events in your life. I hope when I am way older, I can look back on my own adventure and truly grasp what living was all about. For now my thoughts are; it is not the home you live in, the things you have, or how much money is in your bank account. Life for me now is about family and the people around me, the lessons I have learned and will learn, finding one thing I love and making it great, and living life to the fullest that I can. Because in the end, when you look back on YOUR life....hopefully you will smile and laugh at the times you had...not cry and wish you would have lived it differently. So how are you living YOUR life? What do you want to accomplish, so when you look back you have no regrets?

Talking about quilts, I have a many that I love showing for the two on top of this page my grandmother made me the red one when I was very young, and my mother made the brown marriage one. And these are the baby quilts my mother made for each of my kids. The pink of course for my daughter Kiersten, Noah's ark for Preston, Spider Frogs for Tristan, and Winnie the Pooh for Sebastian. I wish I could make quilts, but I cannot do this as of yet. Do any of you make quilts? One the family side: Life has been going pretty okay. We have been tackling school work around here and waiting for spring break. We have not decided if we are Canada bound for spring break or not. Told hubs he better figure this out quickly, cause our break is a coming. I really could use a vacation. Just get to get out of town, and get out of the house and see some new sights.

We have had some crazy weather here in VA, one day it is 80 and the next it is 40. Hoping the nice weather makes it was back soon and stays. But I do have to say I am loving that the time has changed, I am so a day person! Love sunshine! Need it to grow :) We got out a day last week and took the kids to the are some pics..

Also, my step brother made the cover of a local fishing magazine, good job Chris!
Let's see what else has been going on..Ahh yes, Kiersten and I have been taking pottery. We found an awesome potter and she has been giving us lessons. We are having a lot of fun. Also, Sebastian has been sitting on the potty. He still has not "used" it yet..but I am hoping he will soon! Other news, we have had a stray cat hanging around the house. Not sure if he will stay or not, cause our cat Illusion (lou) is not happy he is here and let's him know it. But the kids have named him Leonardo...Leo for short. He is a huge gray stalky cat. So we have Lou and Leo..for now at least.

***Also, today is my best friends daughter's birthday, Happy 12th Birthday Danielle! :) *****

If you ever wonder why I post sooo many pics...reason..I don't get to see my family as much as I I post pics for them and you all of show off what is most important to family.... :)

I think that should do it this go around! Hope you are all doing awesome! Till next time.
Later Tators! :)

I have not seen that movie, sounds like a good one that I need to watch. I got Thomas to pee on the potty this morning. Of course he peed a little on my leg first but that is ok because he finished in the potty. Yeah!!! Don't give up, it will happen.

Those are such pretty quilts, I come from a family of sewers and I can't sew to save my life. LOL...

Those quilts are really pretty. My kids read a book for their book club this past year called "The Keeping Quilt." It's such a nice story. I bet your kids would like it.

Hey cutie - I have been AWOL in a big way. Lots of change, loss of time, pure tiredness - we all have those "times" But spring is coming and that guarantees to me that before too long I'll be back to my spunky self.
I like the quilt movie. Its a good one. Have a good Spring!

American Quilt is a great movie :)

"So how are you living YOUR life? What do you want to accomplish, so when you look back you have no regrets?"

I asked a similiar question on my Blog this morning, more specifically relating to our teens.
I have one or two regrets but, I believe that everything in life we do carves the path to where we are now...even down to the finest detail.

Even if where Ive ended up isnt perfect I cant imagine it any other way. I like that it has a few "quirks" :)

My "must accomplish" list is too long for a lifetime...I have a terrible time trying to pick a choose.
