Dedicated to Illusion

We lost a dear member of the family a few weeks ago. It has laid heavy on all of our hearts. Our wonderful cat of 11 years Illusion passed away. He was a very awesome cat. Always went on walks with us like he was a little pup. Freaked out when someone was crying and would scratch at the door till someone told him things were fine. We called him our babysitter, because he was forever watching over everyone and following the little ones around to keep an eye on them. Lou was the cleanest outdoor cat you would ever meet. He changed color with the seasons, from white to black..we compared him to Michael Jackson for this reason.. :O) He was always there ready for his rubs and his your so pretty compliments. He knew how to take care of himself when no one was around, he could break into a bag of cat food like no other cat. Lou was not only our cat, he was our friend that purred...

We miss you and love you Lou!! Rest in Peace,.....

Illusion was the best cat anyone could ask for, we were the lucky ones to have him in our lives...you will be truly missed Lou..

I'm very sorry to hear about Lou. It sounds like he was definitely part of your family. Losing a family pet is never an easy process, but it prepares your kids to better understand death and grieving.

Sorry to hear about your kitty. Sometimes we don't realize just how much a part of the family our furbabies are until they're gone.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I think part of the reason we love our pets so fiercely is precisely because we know, if only on a subconscious level, that we will most likely outlive them, and that our time with them is limited and therefore precious. It doesn't make the loss any easier to bear, though, so as an adaptive response it leaves something to be desired...
